We exercise for our brain

Exercise is my biggest mood enhancer. I’ve grown to love working out in the morning, and by the end feel energized and ready to take on the day. 

I don’t exercise to lose weight, lower my blood pressure or improve my cardiovascular health. Obviously, these are all valid reasons to be physically active. But for me, exercising is more about my mental health. As someone once said, we exercise for our brain. It’s tough love but totally worth it!
