I’m a huge fan of luxury makeup and I always like to try new products. But figuring out which product is right for me is sometimes frustrating and trial and error.
I’ve spent years wasting money on a foundation that didn’t work for my skin making my face protest or mascaras that were too heavy or clumping. Now I’m pretty loyal to some brands and once I find my favourite product I tend to stick with it.
Recently I’ve treated myself to a quick makeover session with Jovan, and I’m absolutely in love with it. I wanted to update my look and hoped to find my next best favourite product.
If you’re a busy mom who doesn’t like to wear heavy makeup, keep in mind that a subtle glowing skin with bold brows and rosy lips can do wonders for your overall appearance. Jovan took my natural self and turned it up to the next level while showing me some new flattering techniques.
On eyebrows, we used Sephora’s tinted brow gel cream 02 that helped reshape and fill in the gaps left from my last failure eyebrow tattoo. Complexion- The Unicorn Essence Antioxidant Serum + Primer by Farsali Foundation, Face- Yves Saint Laurent Touche Éclat Le Teint Radiance Awakening Foundation – which I love, it gives my skin subtle glowing and refreshed look, and it’s my next best favourite.
For a natural looking contour we used Hoola Quickie Contour Sublime by Benefit cosmetics – it’s easy to apply and blends nicely leaving a matte looking finish. On eyes and cheeks -Cheekleader Bronze Squad palette by Benefit, a mix of Gold rush, Hoola, Cookie. On lips- Magnetic Matte Lip Colour Capri by Nudestix and Dior’s Addict lip maximiser raspberry for maximum hydration and volume. We finished the look with makeup setting spray @UrbanDecay All Nighter Pollution Protection infused with minerals. Hair- @L’Oreal Professionnel Tecni.Art A Head Web – Design Sculpting Paste.
